for Newborns (and beyond): The Wildflower Way

Home Visits

Dr. Suz believes the first few weeks of your baby's life should be gentle, supported, and rooted in trust. As a concierge pediatrician, board-certified in both pediatrics and neonatology, and breastfeeding specialist, I offer personalized home visits for the first month after birth that are designed to ease your transition into parenthood and provide exceptional care, right where you feel most comfortable.

Home visits are included with the cost of membership for the first month of life. After that, they can be arranged for an additional fee. Home visits are often helpful even for school-aged children!

What Happens During a Home Visit

Each visit is tailored to your newborn’s needs and your family’s goals, typically including:

Comprehensive Newborn Exam

I’ll check your baby’s growth, weight, reflexes, and general health, ensuring milestones are met and any early concerns are addressed.

Feeding & Breastfeeding Support

Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or exploring both, I guide you through feeding techniques, latching, milk supply questions, and pumping strategies with empathy and clinical expertise.

Environment & Lifestyle Assessment

I observe your baby’s living environment and offer gentle suggestions to support safe sleep, soothing routines, and developmental wellness.

Parental Guidance & Reassurance

From sleep patterns to skin care, I walk you through the common questions and those quiet worries. This is about building confidence, not just checking boxes.

Connection & Continuity

You won’t be rushed. I take time to listen, answer questions, and create a relationship rooted in genuine care and long-term support.

Why It Matters

The newborn stage is sacred—and fleeting. My home visits are an opportunity for you to feel seen, heard, and wholly supported during this tender time. You’re not just receiving medical care; you’re building a foundation of trust with someone who understands newborn medicine, lactation, and the emotional journey of early parenthood.
